Hello beloved ones!
I’ve been kind of quiet over here as June has been a very FULL month for us! But lots to celebrate in the advancing of His kingdom and tangible expression of his love and comfort for many.
Highlight reel:
1. We hosted four different families in our ministry space this month. We actually had to turn a couple requests away because we were FULL! It’s amazing to me that even though our space is unfinished & make-shift, the desire to come and rest and be refreshed is still more powerful than all the convenient comforts. This ministry is deeply needed youguys! Every single person that has come to rest in our retreat space has communicated great peace, rest, and healing comfort for their hearts. One person even used the word “sanctuary” to describe their time here… What a testimony! 🙌🏼
2. Ryan was able to pick up some side work to help make ends meet for us this month and we are so grateful for the Lords provision in this way, even though it meant a lot of extra hustle for him and me, we still recognize the faithfulness of God in it.
3. We have had the opportunity to GO and serve 3 different ministries this month since school is out, it gives us some more flexibility.
We’ve seen God move in bodies healed, hearts set free, restorative rest, liberating worship, generational equipping, soul nourishment, joyful feasting, and prophetic words of knowledge all through the month! Everyone say, “YAY GOD!”
Prayer targets:
1. Our monthly support base to actually continue this full-time mission of cultivating a place of rest and ministering to the body of Christ abroad has continued to decline. We desperately need the Lord to shift this pattern and are open to and welcome any and all reccomendations on how we could better cultivate this piece of our ministry.
2. Each family we host costs about $500-$800 extra depending on the size and length of time they are with us. It is our deep desire to minister to these families EXTRAVAGANTLY and without restraint. Food, water, paper products, electricity, fuel, personalized gifts, and adventuring are all the expenses that add up quickly. This is on top of our normal monthly expenses. Please pray for partners that will sponsor families in addition to our normal monthly expenses so that we can continue this good work of bringing rest and refreshing to ministry leaders and their families.
3. Our house and car received severe hail damage recently and the deductible will be $2000. We need the Lord to provide for this surprise expense.
4. As the demand for our retreat space increases, we are really achey to finish the space. This is a big expense and we are asking the Lord for strategy and fundraiser ideas to bring this to completion. We need insulation, drywall, electricity, flooring, tape, texture and paint. Please pray with us for this dream of Gods heart to reach its full potential! (Estimated financial need = $20,000)
Many of you not only contend with us regularly, you also partner with us financially! We are deeply grateful friends. Together, we are expressing the TANGIBLE love of Jesus to the weary hearts around us! Our victories are your victories! You have made our burdens your burdens. Thank you, never seems like enough. But we give our deep thanks again and again. We love you all!
